Refer & earn

Your link, your code, and what each of the two does.

Refer & Earn at the foot of the sidebar opens your referral link and what it has earned so far. When someone subscribes through it you keep a share of every payment they make, for as long as they stay. Whop tracks it and pays it out — there is nothing to claim here.

If you have set an @handle on your profile, the dialog shows the short form of the link — tradeus.app/r/yourhandle — which is the only version of it a person can read off a phone or say out loud. Send that one: it opens our pricing page with you already credited, so whoever follows it can compare all three plans at all three billing periods and buy whichever suits him. The long Whop link credits you just the same, but it opens a single plan's checkout with no way back to the others.

Send the link, not just the code
Your link does two things at once: it credits the sale to you, and it fills in your discount code automatically, so nobody has to type anything. When we issue you a code we also attach your affiliate to it at Whop, so that a code entered by hand is credited to you too. Send the link anyway — it is the one that works whether or not you have a code, and it is what the QR on your share card points at.
Total earned
Comes from Whop. If we could not reach Whop just now the dialog says so and shows the last known figure rather than a fresh-looking zero.
Referral count
Not shown — Whop reports the earnings total and no headcount, and a made-up "0 referrals" would be worse than nothing.
Your code
Set by us on request, not self-service — a field here that created a real discount code would turn a typo into a live discount. When we set one up we attach your affiliate to it, so that it credits you as well as discounting them.
Your rate
The percentage in the dialog is read back from Whop, so it is the rate your link is actually paying — not a number printed on a page. If you were referring under an older rate, you keep it; we do not cut a rate you have already been shown.
Which plans it covers
All of them, at every billing period. A yearly subscription pays your share of the whole year in one go, which is why it is worth mentioning when you send the link.
Where the link lands
On the pricing page, not on a checkout. The person you sent stays credited to you while he reads, signs in and picks — so he can take the cheapest plan, the most expensive one, or a yearly subscription, and you are paid on whichever he chooses.
When the discount appears
Before he is asked for a card. If you have a code, your link carries it, and the payment form opens with the price already reduced — he does not type it and cannot mistype it. The code is still printed on your share card in words, so he can see what he is getting.

The picture to put that link on is the shareable P&L card, which prints the QR and the short link for you.

Two rules worth knowing before you post
Say that it is a referral link — the law where most of you are requires the commercial connection to be recognisable, and a single word in the post is enough. And a commission follows the money: if a referred payment is refunded, withdrawn or charged back, the commission on it goes back with it. The full conditions — self-referrals, search ads on our name, notice before a rate changes — are in the Terms.

The conditions of the programme are set out in the Terms. The attribution, the holding period and the payout itself are Whop's, under the affiliate terms you accept with them — we show you what Whop reports and cannot release a payment ourselves.
