Replikanto vs Tradeus

This is the widest gap on the list, and it is one line on their own page: Replikanto is an add-on for NinjaTrader and requires NinjaTrader Desktop running on your machine. Everything else follows from that — licences are bought per machine, copying between machines over the internet consumes credits, and nothing moves while the desktop is closed. Tradeus has no component that runs on your hardware at all.

Side by side

Every row is what their own page says.

No row below is our opinion of Replikanto. Each one links the page on their site it was read from, so you can check it rather than take it — and any row we could not source that way is not on this page at all.

  • Where the software runs

    Replikanto

On your own desktop, inside NinjaTrader. Their product page states the requirement plainly: “NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.7 or later is required.”

    Source: Replikanto's own page

    Tradeus

On our machines. There is nothing to install, no platform to keep open and no VPS — alerts arrive and orders go out while your computer is off.

  • How it is licensed

    Replikanto

Per machine, not per month. Their product page lists Trial, Single Machine and 2 Machines options, each as a one-year or a lifetime licence, and sells a separate consumable called Remote Credit, which the page describes as required “to send trades between Replikanto instances on different machines when the Internet is used as the communication channel”.

    Source: Replikanto's own page

    Tradeus

A monthly or yearly subscription with no machine in it to license, and nothing metered per trade or per message.

  • What can start a trade

    Replikanto

A trade on a leader account. Their page states “full compatibility with Tradovate accounts and can copy trades placed through the web, the mobile app or TradingView” — TradingView as a place you place a trade, by way of Tradovate. A webhook endpoint that receives an alert is not stated on their site.

    Source: Replikanto's own page

    Tradeus

Both: a TradingView alert straight to an endpoint, and a copier that mirrors a trade you placed yourself.

  • Limits that stop an account being breached

    Replikanto

Their product page describes one control: “Follower Guard. A safeguard that protects follower accounts in specific situations by closing the position and disarming the account so it no longer receives copies from the leader.” A daily loss limit, a drawdown guard and a kill switch across accounts are not stated anywhere on flowbots.ninja — their own site search returns nothing for all three terms.

    Source: Replikanto's own page

    Tradeus

Daily loss and target, static, trailing and end-of-day drawdown, trades per day, lockout, and a kill switch across every account at once — all checked before the order is sent.

  • Prop-firm compliance mode

    Replikanto

They publish a Compliance Mode for firms that do not permit copying between machines, under a heading “Features Removed for Compliance”: “Remote Copy over the internet – Won’t be able to send or receive remote trades over the internet” and “Network Copy over the local network – Won’t be able to send or receive remote trades over the local network”. The FAQ on the same page adds that these methods “were identified as fraud vectors”.

    Source: Replikanto's own page

    Tradeus

No equivalent mode, and that cuts both ways: what this product does is copy between accounts over the internet, so if your firm forbids that, a setting here will not make it permitted. Read your firm's rules before either product.

  • Trial

    Replikanto

A free trial of 7 days is listed among the licence options on their product page.

    Source: Replikanto's own page

    Tradeus

A free trial on the middle plan, of the length the checkout states.

About Replikanto

Replikanto is a trade copier that runs inside NinjaTrader 8, made by FlowBots and sold as a per-machine licence rather than a subscription. Its own description is “the first and most reliable NinjaTrader trade copier”, and it lists features including ATM copy, market-only mode and a stealth mode.

Tradeus is a hosted layer between a signal and a funded account. A TradingView alert arrives at an endpoint, a trade on one account is mirrored to the others, every order is checked against the limits set on the account it is headed for, and anything that would cross one is refused before it is sent. It runs on our machines: there is nothing to install and nothing of yours has to be awake. It connects to Tradovate, Rithmic and TradeLocker, which is what the prop firms our users trade with issue credentials for.

Which one

There is a case for each, and this is it.

Choose Replikanto if

You live in NinjaTrader. If your charts, your order entry and your ATM strategies are all there and your machine is on anyway while you trade, Replikanto copies inside the platform you are already using, and a lifetime licence with no monthly fee is a genuinely different deal from a subscription. Their compliance mode also answers a specific firm requirement that nothing hosted can answer.

Choose Tradeus if

Your trades should not depend on your computer. If your accounts have to be traded while you sleep, if a Windows update at 3am would cost you a session, or if you would rather not run NinjaTrader at all, that is the whole argument and there is not much more to it.

Questions

What people ask about Replikanto and Tradeus.

Is a lifetime licence cheaper than a subscription?

Over a long enough run, a one-off payment beats a monthly one, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What the comparison has to include is the rest of it: a licence per machine, credits for copying over the internet, and a computer that has to be running for any of it to happen. Price the whole setup, not the licence.

Does Replikanto work with prop firms?

They name firms that have approved their compliance mode and add that you must confirm with your own firm. We say the same. Firm rules on copying and automation differ and change, and neither product can put you inside them.

Why do your links point at flowbots.ninja?

Because that is where the product is published. FlowBots makes Replikanto, and the licence options, the feature list and the requirement line all live on their site. We would rather link the page that actually says the thing than the one with the product's name on it.

Every row above links the page it was read from. The one claim neither page can make for you is how it behaves on your own accounts.
