Which brokers work

Three you can connect today, and what each one asks for.

Available now
Rithmic
Futures, and what most futures prop firms run on. Asks for Rithmic username, Password, Rithmic system and Gateway.
Tradovate
Futures, connected by OAuth — you log in at Tradovate and Tradeus never sees the password.
TradeLocker
Forex and CFD prop firms. Asks for E-mail, Password and Server.

TopstepX is listed but not yet selectable. The connection is built — since July 2025 it is the only way into a Topstep account, so it is shown rather than hidden — but it has not yet been run against a real TopstepX account, and until it has, we would rather say so than let you find out with an order. It also needs a ProjectX API subscription, which you buy from Topstep and not from us ($29/mo, $14.50 with the code topstep).

Start on an account you can afford to be wrong on
Tradeus no longer offers a simulated broker of its own — the one worth practising on is the one your firm gave you. Connect a Rithmic Paper Trading login, or a TradeLocker demo server, or the evaluation account you have not passed yet. Everything in this handbook runs the same way on it, and a malformed alert costs you nothing but the lesson.
Your plan does not limit how many brokers you connect
Connect as many brokers and logins as you hold, on every plan — a target account may perfectly well sit at a second prop firm, and refusing that login would be refusing you the thing you are paying for. What a plan limits is how many accounts you copy from: one copy group on Manual, any number on Algo and Unlimited. See Plans and billing.

Step-by-step

Send a TradingView alert to a Rithmic account

Rithmic is what most futures prop firms run on, and connecting it asks for two things beyond your username and password: which SYSTEM your account lives on, and which GATEWAY to reach it through. Both come from your firm, not from us, and getting either wrong is the reason most first attempts fail.

Send a TradingView alert to a TradeLocker account

TradeLocker is the platform forex and CFD prop firms hand out, and it connects with three fields: email, password and server. The rest of the path is the same as the futures brokers — with one difference worth knowing before you start, which is that a strategy is bound to one market and a CFD strategy can only be followed by CFD accounts.

Copy one account's trades to all your other accounts

The copier starts from an ACCOUNT, not from a signal: whatever the leader does, the followers do too, sized for themselves. That is the difference from everything else on this site. If your decisions come from a chart alert, you want a strategy; if they come from you trading one account by hand, you want this.

Automating an Apex Trader Funding account

Apex Trader Funding issues platform credentials rather than an API of its own, and those credentials are what connects here. This page is mechanical only: which credential goes where, and how one decision reaches several accounts. Whether Apex permits automated or copied trading on YOUR account is set by Apex, not by us — read your own account's terms first.

Automating a Topstep account

Read this part before anything else: TopstepX runs on ProjectX, and ProjectX is listed here but NOT selectable — it needs an API subscription that is not in place, and without it the adapter would fail at the first order. It is shown rather than hidden so you can see it is known about. If your Topstep account is on Rithmic or Tradovate, everything on this page applies; if it is on TopstepX only, it does not yet.
