A broker login belongs to one Tradeus account

And removing the connection does not change that.

The first time a broker login connects here, it is recorded against your Tradeus account. From then on that login is yours: nobody else can connect it, and it is the reason the same funded account cannot be running under two Tradeus subscriptions at once.

Removing the connection does not release it
Remove a connection and the connection is gone — the accounts, the session, the copier membership. The record that this broker login is yours stays. That is deliberate, and it is the one thing about this worth knowing in advance.

If you try to connect a login that is held by another Tradeus account, the connect is refused and says so. It does not tell you whose it is. If it is genuinely yours — you opened a second Tradeus account, or a prop account changed hands — write to support and it gets moved. Support releases it by hand, under their own name, and the release stays on the record. There is no button for it on your side, because it should not be a button.

What counts as one login
Rithmic
Your username together with the system. The same username on Rithmic 01 and on Rithmic Paper Trading are two different logins, and each is claimed separately.
Tradovate
Your Tradovate user together with the deployment. Accounts on both sides give you two connections, and those are two logins.
TradeLocker
Email, server and environment together. The same email on a different prop firm's server is a different login.
